Allegory Jar Candle
An Allegory is a story, poem, or picture that can be interpreted to reveal a hidden meaning, typically a moral or political one.
The allegorical illustrations on these candles are from the alchemical works of Renaisance artists.
The larger candle, 'Twin Spirit' depicts the conjoined male and female aspects of the Universe and Philosopher's Stone. There is a corresponding picture on the front and the back, interior of glass.
The smaller candle 'Abundanza' shows the personification of abundance, wealth, and hospitality as a female figure. The jar has a fruit design imprinted on one side in the glass and the illustration described on the opposite side.
Predominent essential oils in both candles are: blood orange, vanilla, clove, myrrh.
SOY WAX JAR CANDLE DETAILS
- Soy wax is biodegradable and plant-based.
- Hemp remains upright in the wax without a zinc/lead core, so there are no metal fumes, or off-gassing of petro-chemicals.
- Hemp is an earth sustainable plant fiber, it is irregular and not suitable for factory level candle production.
- Paper core wicks often burn up and disappear in an air gap, but the hemp wick remains lit and does not drown in the wax.
- Canning jars { re: Mason, Ball, Kerr} are heat, cold and shatter resistent which makes them suitable as candle containers.
- Candle ingredients are non-toxic so these jars are completely reusable.
- To remove residual wax from jar after candle is finished: rinse jar with water, and place in in the freezer, remove the jar the next day and remainder wax will pop out easily, then simply wash for reuse as storage, beverage, or food container.
RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
Returns: Must be requested within 10 days of the receipt of items. The returned products must be received in good condition. Shipping costs are not refundable. We will credit your purchase via the Paypal gateway.
- Handmade Items: Please expect some variation in items made by hand. Colors and configuration may not be exactly as shown in the picture.
- Candles are handmade/hand poured, not factory molded. Expect rustic lumps and bumps, these are purposeful, we like how we do it.
- Soy wax may 'cloud' over time {like chocolate} with exposure to moist air which is a common condition in the Pacific Northwest.
- Dimensions are approximate; descriptions are essentially accurate.
- Body care items such as soap, lotions, and products with liquid contents are not returnable. If you have a problem related to any of these, please email alice@aromawonderland.com. We have improved our mailing packages to minimize the possibility of spilled contents.
- Damages: Retain merchandise and packaging for inspection and/or return. Or email/text a picture.
