Fizzy Bath Cakes
Fizz away the cares of the day and relax in a skin smoothing bath!
Fizzy Bath Cakes in assorted varieties.
Similar to “bath bombs”, with added botanical elements of “bath tea”. I use tapioca starch instead of cornstarch; more skin smoothing in my opinion. No GMOs in tapioca. Also the ratio of Citric Acid is slightly higher than what you find in most bath bombs, to lower the pH of the water. This is better for healthy skin. Hydrogen ions in salt water also cleanse the astral body. Epsom salts relax muscles. Organic Coconut Oil is also part of my base recipe, which is beneficial to both skin and hair. All ingredients are non-toxic and you could literally make cake using some of them, but eating them is not recommended.

Recommended Use:
Fill the tub with desired amount of warm/hot water. Coconut oil needs to be warmer than body temperature to melt, so a cold bath will dampen the fizzy action. Unwrap the bath cake and plop the cake into the tub just before you get in the water. It will fizz as it releases skin smoothing, exfoliating, and other beneficial properties. Enjoy.

FIZZY BATH CAKE INGREDIENTS
Ingredients {many variations on this basic bath cake recipe}:
- Baking Soda
- Citric Acid (Vitamin C)
- Epsom Salts (Magnesium Sulfate)
- Tapioca Starch
- Organic coconut Oil
- Alcohol 91% [this is evaporated off by the time the cake dries]
Tub messy, but skin safe Variations may include;
flowers & ground herbs, essential oils, colloidal oatmeal, organic seed oils (hemp, red palm, sunflower, apricot), seaweed gelatin (agar-agar), sea salts, honey crystals, dried milk solids (cow or goat), food flavorings, facial clay (French white, green or bentonite clay), food color, cosmetic glitter or mica, candy sprinkles, cocoa, shredded coconut, coconut powder, decorative soap flakes or sugar shapes. Most herbs are ground but some are left intact so expect some floaty bits in the bathwater.

Returns: Must be requested within 10 days of the receipt of items. The returned products must be received in good condition. Shipping costs are not refundable. We will credit your purchase via the Paypal gateway.
- Handmade Items: Please expect some variation in items made by hand. Colors and configuration may not be exactly as shown in the picture.
- Candles are handmade/hand poured, not factory molded. Expect rustic lumps and bumps, these are purposeful, we like how we do it.
- Soy wax may 'cloud' over time {like chocolate} with exposure to moist air which is a common condition in the Pacific Northwest.
- Dimensions are approximate; descriptions are essentially accurate.
- Body care items such as soap, lotions, and products with liquid contents are not returnable. If you have a problem related to any of these, please email alice@aromawonderland.com. We have improved our mailing packages to minimize the possibility of spilled contents.
